Manisa Education and Research Hospital PPP Project (the “Project”) comprises a 558-bed healthcare facility with a construction area of 178,000 sqm. During the operational period of 25 years, YDA shall provide facility management and support services (catering, cleaning, laundry, reception etc.) and various clinical support services, including laboratory, imaging, sterilization, rehabilitation, and disinfection after the development of design, construction, procurement of medical devices and other equipment.

YDA is a prominent construction group with revenues of over US$600 million and interests in real estate, engineering, mining, energy and aviation. YDA has operations in Kazakhstan, Russia, Ukraine, Moldova, Saudi Arabia, UAE, Afghanistan as well as Türkiye.

Islamic Development Bank, Islamic Corporation for Development of the Private Sector, Siemens Bank GmbH and Ziraat Katılım Bankası provided €177 million non-recourse financing facility for the Project.

Ajinomoto based in Japan is a global manufacturer of high-quality seasonings, processed foods, beverages, amino acids, pharmaceuticals and specialty chemicals. Ajinomoto has operations in 30 countries, and had net sales US$10 billion in 2016.

Ajinomoto acquired the remaining 50% of Kemal Kükrer for US$51.5 million.
